This book is written to help the reader put bible ideas and topics together to make a bit more sense than just a straight read through of the text.

If Job 38:4-7 helps the reader develop a better understanding of Genesis 1:2, then someone should point out the connection.

There are myriad topics in the bible and they are interconnected across centuries of writings; no one can understand them all. It helps when someone points out connections. I know that other people's understandings and writings have helped me understand the bible much better over the years.

It is also quite helpful when someone points out the matches between the bible and science.
